Frank and Pelecanus did a wonderful job planning our trip to Leticia and the Colombian Amazon. Everything was thought through, right down to the last detail. We asked for English speaking guides, and they were always there for us, meeting us at each stop, and making sure we had and saw what we needed. The activities were fascinating, unique and well-planned. Accommodations were excellent. Meals (not a single bad meal) were sometimes included with lodging, and when we were on our own, our guides happily suggested good spots to enjoy the local cuisine. A special call-out to Calanoa Amazonas for their unique and local food, it was a highlight for every meal. Ours was an amazing trip and Colombia was worth the journey. We will go again. Frank has some ideas! ;-)

Our group all travelled from Panama for a week of golf and other activities in Bogota. Frank did an amazing job coordinating multiple rounds of golf at private courses around the Bogota area for us to enjoy. He was always responsive when we needed clarification or assistance navigating the processes for access to the courses. If you are looking for a great golf experience in South America, I highly recommend a trip to Bogota as there are several great courses to play. Frank and his team will take great care of you and ease the stress of traveling and playing in a new place internationally.

We are just back from a wonderful 2-week holiday in Colombia and we owe it to Frank ! This was a special trip for me as I was born in Colombia and adopted from there, and he made my reconnection trip very special and I am super grateful!
First he was very responsive by email and always quickly available for a Skype call (usually the next day) in order to discuss destinations, recommendations, etc...
We have sent him a list of hotels we liked and he made it happen and made the reservations in those hotels for us, and in a place where we had added at the last moment and did not request any hotel, he booked us in a dream-like place, such a charming hotel, with little tables in front of each room where we could be served breakfast if we wanted to, but we preferred the common area/living room where we had an excellent view on the valley, where the staff was incredibly nice and friendly, and from the step of the hotel you had a view on the whole street going down the village and the dome of the cathedral at the end! You can also see the dome from the restaurant of the hotel where you can chose to get your breakfast also!
The transports were so well organized, always on time, not a single delay (as can happen in South America) cars were nice with air conditioning, comfortable, space for the luggage, drivers were always lovely, and driving safely, guides were always very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing their knowledge, their city, their culture, we created great connections with them (one is married to an Irish woman so we will see him again in Ireland!). Frank is extremely well travelled in Colombia and has met most of the guides we used personally and all seem to think very highly of him.
Frank was always a whatsapp away to answer any question we may have so in case of any problem, he would have been very reactive I am sure, but nothing happened. Only once, we got invited for lunch in Buenavista (Salento) by the guide and driver when it was not supposed to be included, so we just checked with Frank whether it was ok or not, as we did not want him to be charged for something extra if it was not planned, especially when we were actually planning to invite them both for lunch like we have done with others, and he got back to us very quickly.
We were blown away by the trip, the country, the people, and the experience that Frank has provided us through this tour and we would recommend anyone wanting to travel around Colombia to use his services, you cannot beat the Swiss rigour :)
